ok thank you....I will look it over a little more....I was not aware that stuff would grow in my tank...as I am running a very basic tank...with normal lights...not salt water lighting....so very interesting for me...:) Thank you again

This is how it has looked for a long time....so not sure how I would have killed it?? It was on the back of the rock...I thought it was a piece of the grass dying off..today was cleaning day..that is when I had the opportunity to really see it. So again it has been this way for awhile....but...

Yea just not sure....it doesnt shy away or anything like that....and its pretty firm...has a little whole on top...thought maybe a worm was in it????Hope not though cause that is one big worm if sooo....lol

Thank you for the encouragment and the responses....I did take water from its original tank n I filtered some of the gravel n its contents...unfortunatley there was only one ornament in her whole tank sooo was not much for me to work with..... I do hope it does well :D I have noticed that if...

update Ok spoke to the original owner n she did verify that she had bought a jack dempsey also...but thought it was one that was eaten.....she said this was basically the last one standing so she assumed it was eating all the others...she only fed it when she thought about it there for awhile...

I think you are right on the jack has the same red along the fins as this one n the same patterns....just mine is lacking its full color....but I will keep looking....:D

Definately like little chunks are missing in the fins, and rub looking marks on the side of its body just underneath the fins.
