After further examination with a magnifying glass I have concluded they are in fact Planaria. Looks like I'll be doing daily water changes until this clears up. I also scraped as much as i could off the glass. Anything else I ought to know about these little critters.

I brought up an old 10 gallon tank I got when I was a kid from the basement and now have three happy Glofish swimming around in it. Before the fishies I kept tree frogs in it and it has been empty for over ten years. Its good to see something living in it again :)
