Hi there I may need to empty my tank for a few months. Due to some re decorating. What should I do? I hear the silicone can dry out and fail once it is really filled. How should I avoid this.

Ok so to my 55 gal tall I have added 6 peppered Cory's. 6 diamond tetras. 2 Otto's. And 3 Armano shrimp. Now for a centre piece. I don't want an angel discus or gourami. So my choices are pretty limited. Some colour would be good too. Any ideas thanks

Some parts of the scratches look wider than others. I don't know if they are chipping or if it is algae or not. Any ideas what would chipping look like

Just noticed after using my may float I have scratched my tank in the bottom corners and up the left hand side. They look like hairs on the inside. I can feel the with my nail. My questions is. Is my tank in danger. What can I do. Is it a big deal. Can anyone calm my mind. Thanks

Today I bought 6 diamond tetras. They look awesome. Could I add some angels. Or would dwarf gouramis be better?

I had some in my tetra hob a few years back. I hear it is a perfect environment for them to live damp and warm. Mine were kept under control by my golden panchax Lillie fish. Other than cleaning it regularly I don't know a way of getting rid of them

Spot on. Nitrates a Tad high but acceptable. Nothing a pwc couldn't sort out. Have your nitrites peaked then dropped again. How u cycling? Pure ammonia

Could your readings be showing zero because a cycle hasn't even started. Mine did. A tank sitting for 4 days with no source of ammonia is far from cycled. I would suggest going to your lfs or a friend and asking for a dirty filter pad. Place it in ur filter or better yet cut into pieces and put...
