nah I'm pretty set on getting African cichlids from lake Tanganika....And I am going to trade in all of the fish that are in there right now.

Thanks, I've been putting a lot of effort into it. I'm wondering what you mean by them forming pairs? I do have a small 5 gallon I could salvage the fry in if they were to mate. I guess I could offer a fish dealer the fry for a trade in when they get to big to keep in that small tank...

I like the way it looks with no background at all. I think it takes away from whatever kind of thing you got going on at the bottom of the tank. Having an all black background might be nice too, or something monotone that would go along with whatever theme you may have. Like if you had nothing...
