I just got an RO unit but it is waisting about 3-4 gal of water for every 1 it makes and the RO water is still showing Chlorine when I test it.
Any thoughts?
$30 for a typica med. red zebra would be too much, but I haven't seen this one around here before. Its body is a poweder blue with an orange dorsal fin. I will try to get by to sneak a picture and post. Here is one I found on the internet that looks just like it.
I am looking at a Pseudotropheus estherae. Its about 3-4 inches long. Does anyone have an idea as to what I should pay for it? They have 29.98 on it , but I don't know... :?:
Has anyone heard of this kind of sand? It's put out by a NC company called Bonsal. I can't find out if it is silica or agronite. It's sold at Home Depot.

In the past I have always washed my substrate before putting it into a tank. Can I assume that with Sand you just put it in there?
OK, then. I like the looks of CC, but if the consensus is to go with DSB, How much and where the cheapest place to get it.
Also, I will have some inverts. but like I said, this will be mostly a fish environment.
I just purchased a 72g Bow-Front and will be setting it up as a s/w tank, mostly fish.
What would be the best substrate to go with? I found some Atlantic CC 1/8" to 3/8". Would this be good or is sand better? Either way how do I determine how much to get (I will not be using an U/G filter)...
