Just found two Yellow lab fry while doing a water change, got so excited and distracted i didnt realize nearly half the water had been siphoned out of the tank. Got them in a seclusion net now. What is the best food for yellow lab fry? I have tropical first bites for my swordtail fry, is that ok?

3 males 1 female one male has some amazing color. dark black fins and beautiful bright yellow. he is the largest at 4 inches or a little more. all other are about 3 -3.5 inches. $10 for the large male $5 for the others.

just got back from tropiquarium, picked up 20 ghost shrimp, 8 of with have egg cluthes. now i dont know what I want to do with em. do I separate the ones with eggs and possibly increase my population, or let them into the tank and let my fish feed on the babies?

well i found a place that has em for 20cents each. they use them for feeders which is why I didn't see them when I browsed their livestock the other day. prolly pick up a dozen tomorrow.

there are a total of 3 petsmarts within ten miles of me and they have a grand total of 3 ghost shrimp. one says they should have more on thursday. I didn't even think to check there. Thanks Jim

Yeah, we have this place that is like an inversion on petsmart, where petsmart is 90% dogs and cats, this place is all 95% fish and only 5% "others" (dogs and cats) they have ALL SORTS of stuff, including bristlenose, sometimes albino bristlenose, I went looking for ghost shrimp yesterday...
