Why not just grab a Aquaclear 50? you can adjust flow to them and you can throw what ever type of media you want in the catch tray!! And they are hardy filters had mine for about a year and is running great only problem is my impeller had stopped once i guess due to the sand and it getting too...

Well im back and still have my 20gL, my 10g, and my soon to be setup 90g.... My 10g has stayed exactly the same with platys filtration is a box filter and tetra 10..... My 20gL has changed alot start with plants i have 2 Anubias one that is out growing my DW and one that i cut off from the DW...

You can return live fishes at petsmart i did that when i first first setup my 10gal i returned 3 tetra 2 glo and 1 cory and got 2 platys and the rest of the money went for supplies
