I've had the sword, wisteria, a few crypt balansae, and some other crypt for a year. It's only been 3 weeks with pressurized Co2, and I recently bought more plants, that so far seem to be doing good. Thanks for the kind words :)

Oh and I think it has one reflector over both bulbs if that makes any sense

Well my tank is 55g. According to the spec sheet, it has a total of 108 w. I measured from the light to the substrate and its 21 inches. Here is a pic of my tank

Hi, Can someone please tell me what kind of light this would be considered to be, as in low,medium etc. http://www.aquaticlife.com/sites/default/files/specsheets/420145.pdf There are two bulbs, one is a roseate 54w 650nm. The other, a white 54 w 6000 k.

I'm going to be setting up my pressurized Co2 soon, and I'm going to get a drop checker. The ones I've seen on Ebay seem to only come with the 4 dkh liquid and not the Bromothymol Blue. Where can I buy some of this ph reagent?

so what does carbon in a filter do exactly? what does it filter?

I just read someone saying carbon in your filter will take out the ferts you put in your tank. I only have low light plants and dose with Excel. I just starting putting in a few drops of the Fleet Enema and NuSalt after reading the sticky on ferts and CO2. I have carbon in my canister...

I bought the Flourish Excel because I knew I wasnt going to have CO2. I will buy the Flourish Comprehensive soon. I can't believe how fast the repens is growing! It's now to the water level lol. I just ordered some plants from Bobs Tropical Plants, so I am so excited to get them in my tank!!

Yes I think I might run 2 bottles into my tank. Since I started with this one bottle a few days ago, my Ludwigia Repens has grown about an inch or so. Its nearly to the top of the tank now lol. The jungle val has come back and its slowly growing also. I dose twice a week with flourish...
