The plant in the front is water sprite!... With a lot of blue green algae all over it. At least that's my best educated guess... The plant in the back I'm not sure of.

Hey NYREPs, I've actually checked out your video on your finnex 4g before. I just bought one and hope it take it to college with me and keep CRS, it will be big enough to accommodate them, won't it? Sure I may not get huge herds of babies, but it should be able to induce some breeding in them.

Hey SM, that plant looks like Rotala Macrandra! It can get to be VERY pink in high light with lots of iron and CO2. I have some in my tank, it grows in green and once it gets close to the light turns bright pink. Pretty sweet stuff.

2 bottles on the 29 gallon. Soon to be replaced with a paintball canister set up! The reds may be thanks to fluorite. Good amount of iron in that and quite a bit of light keeps the reds looking nice! Thanks for the compliment!

Right now I only use seachem flourish, but I ordered some excel and iron too. I also use DIY CO2, but I'm about to switch to a paintball CO2. Rotala does spread very quick in a tank, if that's what you mean by stocky haha. :) bettas are actually quite peaceful and get along well with most fish...

I do a weekly water change too to keep things clear. Aqua clear filters are great too. I dont use carbon filtration either. Just biological. There's a balance of nutrients and light you need to keep too so the water doesn't get cloudy. Too much excess nutrients and light gives you lots of excess...

I'm not sure, they don't really die... They just sit there haha. I have eggs that have been around for a couple months+. I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure they're nerite eggs though... They may be able to reproduce by themselves, or they could be infertile eggs she's just laying.

Moss balls require hardly any light at all. That's really odd, I don't know what's happening to yours.

The white eggs are from nerite snails (assuming you have them). I have them in both of my tanks. :) they won't hatch unless it's in salt water though, unfortunately. :(
