    Brown Stuff I had this problem. Cut back your daylight period. Less light might help

    54 liter planted. 2 Red tailed dwarf puffers. Snail shortage for feeding them. Frozen Mosquito larvae feed. Planaria infestation. Any advice apart from gravel cleaning and increased water changes???? Please advise. Thanks.

    i just set up a 45 liter. nothing in yet, but must have got some Hydra from the plants at my local pet shop. Planning on transfereing some cherries and later introducing some orange dwarf river crabs. hopefully the shrimp will take out the hydra. will let you know. cheers

    Aquatic Plant Nursery. Inhabitants?

    Going to create a 60 liter plant nursery and need advice as to which species of fish/snails/ shrimp to play a part in maintaining. NOt going to be using Areator or CO2 boost. Any ideas???

    Duckweed is fine Adds interest to the appearance of the tank and is easy to keep levels down. does multiply fast though. all you have to do is scoop it out. put it on the compost heap for your house or out door plants.

    My Neons do the this during the night period in the tank. Resting? Maybe he's just sleepy....

    10 Neons dies. From 10-7 7-3 3-2 And now the last is sick. Devasted. Seems as though they have succumbed to Neon Tetra Disease (Pleistophora hyphessobryconis). Apparently this will not leave my tank after theyre all gone. Is this the case? What should I do? Please Help.
