Aquatic Plant Nursery. Inhabitants?

Going to create a 60 liter plant nursery and need advice as to which species of fish/snails/ shrimp to play a part in maintaining. NOt going to be using Areator or CO2 boost.

Any ideas???

For a nursery, stick to shrimp, snails, and maybe 3 ottos (after a while) and that should keep it cycled and clean.

I'd stick with something cheap and simple like ramshorns. If you're planning to use a heater and a filter, RCS would also make a good addition. I keep my trimmings in an unheated 10g with an AC30 with no media for water circulation. The plants don't grow super fast, but they do grow.
