The cloudiness is probably from you cleaning and removing some of the bacteria that helps keep the water clear.

Is it a white cloudiness? It's probably a bacterial bloom. It's happened to me before and should clear up in a day or two. You probably "cleaned" too much. As long as fish are acting normal you should be good.

Haha. I get it. So reactor and pump. Then I'm good to go. Would having a carbon filled reactor help clear up my water? Not that it's dirty but I just want to "polish" my water so it's more clear.

Im thinking phosphate remover media. Was possibly thinking of running 2. The other having carbon.

I have been running my reef tank for a year now and want to look into getting a reactor now. Was wondering what is a good brand and what water pump I'll need to go with it? Any info would be great.
