Puffers will eat all corals starfish seacucumbers snails and hermit crabs they are totally not reef safe I learnt the hard way but would never be without my puffers they have so much personality 

Yh I got a dogface a porcupine and a jewel puffer they are great fun :-)

That's a well trained puffer then mine destroyed any corals I had would never get rid of the puffers though my fave fish :-)

Does your puffer nibble on your corals?

They will eat your corals and anemones any crabs starfish seacucumbers shrimp :-(

Puffers will go for anything like starfish seacucumbers crabs snaisl corals shrimp I found out the hard way being a newbie salty, l would never get rid of my puffers though :-)

Great pics nice tank yes I will try the sachem matrix or similar as my nitrates are very high 60 !! Mine ain't so quiet though tends to humming quite loudly thanks for the info happy fish keeping 

I have a dogface a jewel and a porcupine puffer and they act similarly as soon as I enter the room perhaps they are watching you and waiting for lunch to be served they are always hungry lol

Hi all so glad to have found this site ! First time for sw for me I really wanted to have a reef tank but my better half fell in love with a dogface puffer at the store we now have 3 puffers and don't regret missing out on the reef tank perhaps a his n hers tank is on the cards haha 
