I am comitted. I will do whats needed to keep everything alive. I just will not go back to petco. We have a few other mom/pop aquatic stores around, but not as cheap and not as much variety of fish and products.

Thanks wendi. well said. You gave me very good advice. Especially about the water changer. I've been doing it with buckets, and its not fun at all... Just one question tho... how do you condition the water? Arent you suppoosed to do that before the water goes into the tank?

i have just recently done homework on tank cycling. so because of my ammonia levels, i have done 50% water changes every other day. but the ammonia and ph levels remain the same....granted, i have only done two changes since joining this forum...
