Two of my tanks (25g's) were gifts from my neighbor who was giving up the hobby. So that means:

Maybe I just had bad luck with mine, but the kribs I had were very aggressive. Even when not spawning they constantly attacked the BN pleco (the only fish in the tank at the time) to the point that I gave them away.
But that could have just been poor luck, either way, G'luck!

I have had platies for the last 5 years or so, so I have a web of people I can platy share with (and a local petstore that takes them pretty readily, even when they are small). So, I'm not too worried at this point.
One Gourami makes sense and I will probably end up with closer to 6 cories. The platies must retain their 1:3 ratio at the insistence of my housemates. It's always good to stay in the roommates good graces. :P
I previously had a pair of Honduran Cichlids, which promptly bred like rabbits. I have re-homed all 45 of the fish am ready to repopulate.
I was wondering if a tank housing:
