Might be a gorilla crab. Google pictures and see if it looks like yours. If it is, you will probably want to get rid of him. I had one that went after a cleaner shrimp. They will eat any thing they can catch.

I had a bi color once. He loved to eat the top layer off my toadstool leather. I put algae sheets in the tank. He would eat that and then turn around and eat my toadstool. Finally rehomed him and toadstool recovered. And the toadstool was the only coral he really messed with.

I used an elbow. One side threaded the other end slip. It was purchased at either Lowes or home depot.

I have mp 10s and Mp40s. I think they are worth the money BUT I also love gadgets :). I also agree that the Koralia are real good power heads if you dont want to spend that crazy amount of money on a powerhead. :)

The poster is asking about saltwater fish not freshwater. Have you looked into chromis? I have blue green chromis that are out at the top a lot.

Just checking. You said salinty is at 1.25 etc. Do you mean 1.025? There should be a zero there. If it is 1.25 that is way too salty.

Try testing your tap water for ammonia, nitrates, and phosphates. My local tap water is loaded with that stuff so I have to use ro di. Some people can get away with it but only because their local water is cleaner.

Ok. Think i found an easy fix. I lined up live rock near the water fall and that seems to trap the bubbles :)

No i dont use biopellets. I have never had an issue with having alkalinty this low. The only thing I have changed is the substrate so I dont know what is going on
