    :D they are lovely........but if I had to choose a favourite among my loaches it would have to be the neomacheilus triangularis.....aka 'the dude' ....he's such a clown and :roll: just loves having his pic taken sue

    :D they are so cute.... love the photos. I rescued my 2 when they were about that size and ended up having to get a bigger tank for them (had them in a 10 gall - moved to a 29 gall) they're now bout 3 inches and still absolute darlings :D sue

    hi there lamcon - one of the things that helps you know what is happening in your tank is if you can get a testkit of your own to test ammonia/nitrite........it eliminates the variables you get with other people doing the tests and you can keep a tank log of the results. sue

    :lol: tis definately a clown's butt behind the neomacheilus...... have got clowns, striata, polkadots and the neomacheilus :mrgreen: they all come out and feed in the evening and :roll: try to get in the way when I'm taking pics sue

    Been bit by the ram bug

    I have an apistogramma living with loaches and he holds his own - the loaches are the less aggressive ones (clowns, polkadots, and striata) but - they get very boisterous when they are feeding........only thing he backs down to are the keyholes when he has intruded into their territory however...
