When I had urchins, they loved a small strip of nori every 3-4 days. It works well, they will gobble it up. It's actually fun to watch them pull it in. In my gallery. you may even find a pick of one chowing down.

I agree, 3-5. With the stock you currently have, should not be a problem. Don't forget to QT.

IMHO, they are businesses. They don't sell 5000 units a day like Wallmart. I'm sure they cannot get by with a 15% markup. When they can get them on the market for 4-5 dollars, their offer is not out of line IMO.

Urchins are great, but if you are having algae problem, you may want to look at your water quality. Nitrates especially. Urchins need some room, even though they seem like slow movers, its easy to starve them in small tank. I would first take a look at water quality if you are having algae...

Well, that quite a croud for a 55. The Tang itself will outgrow that tank in short order. Also firefish are mellow fish and the others mentioned can be aggresive. Unless you break these guys up I would expect that the firefish may at some point meet their demise. did you quarrentine? How much...
