I'm looking to set up a very small nano tank and could use some advice. So far i'm thinking about 1.5-2 gallons, and a substrate with some form of nutrients. There will be a LOT of light (because the tank is so small, will this cause algae problems?). Ideally it will be virtually no maintenance...

so i'm "inheriting" an old 20 gallon from a friend of mine's sister who was not so good with fish (lack of maintenance). Stocking-wise, will 2 bolivian rams fit? any suggestions welcome :D

60 gallon, 2x penguin 350 bio wheels, all live plants 10x red eye tetra 10x long fin serpae tetra 10x bleeding heart tetra 2x three spot gourami (1 male, 1 female) 1x pleco (BN or clown)

so today i got a 60 gallon tank and rinsed all the sand till the water ran clear like i thought i was supposed to. When i filled up the tank the water was still verryyyyyy cloudy, i cant see 3 in. past the glass. i turned off the filters (should i turn them on?) what can i do to make it clear up?

1.) So i have a 10 gallon tank with a betta and a couple mystery snails in it (and god knows how many pond snails :p) so do i have room for anything else in there? 2.) I'm getting a 75 gallon in the next week or so, and i'm still thinking of stocking, any ideas (looking for colorful fish)

.....i got hair algae in my 5gal betta tank....goodie haha, how do i get rid of it?

What type of plecostamus is this? has 2 little horn things on its nose if that helps and its spotted

I'm starting a 55+ gallon tank in the next month or so and i'm already thinking about stocking haha. I'm planning on serpae tetras, bleeding heart tetras, some type of pleco, and i was thinking yellow lab as centerpiece. Will this work?

i'm going to be starting a 50+ gallon tank in a month or so and i'm starting to think about stocking. I was looking to do Angel x1, Silver Dollars x7 and some Yellow Labs...prob like 5+ to spread aggression, lemme know if this won't work and if u have any ideas! :brows:

my sister is going away for college and she gave me her abused betta to take care of (its in one of those 1/4 gallon betta kits, un-heated, un-filtered). all i have available is a roughly 2 gallon vase (i used the vase for growing hornwort so it's got live plants). i can't get it a better home...

got this plant from petsmart, i think its either cabomba or hornwort; anyone have any ideas? also, its growing like wildfire! :D

i noticed this brown stuff on my gravel...and its spreading? its in my 5.5 betta tank, he hasn't been acting any differently

idk if it's algae or not, but theres also been an ammonia spike (i've been doing pwc's 1-2 times a day) heres pics also, the tank started smelling pretty badddd
