Added six Rummynose Tetras(well actually got seven, the guy couldn't count) and six Harlequin Rasboras to the tank last night and they are schooling nicely.

Ok thanks, I'll wait a while longer too. There are some shoots a little farther down the stalk forming too. I need to feet a bit more though, I realise that.

I have these brown spiny things growing on the underside of my Java Ferns. I'm not sure what it is or where it came from. Does anyone know and should I be concerned? Thanks!

I have cycle! Zero ammonia, zero nitrite and 40+ nitrate! Good 50% water change and nitrate level back to about 10%. Oh I have snails also! So there's life!
