I have found four of these fuzzy worm things in my 29g bio cube. I'm not sure what they are or were they came from because I have not added anything new to it for about a 6months and these things are just showing up now. Could someone please identifie them?

We had a bad storm go through today and the power has been out for about 8 hours. I went and got some battery power air pumps but how long can the fish go with just the air pumps running? because they are saying the Power may not be back on till Wednesday.

I am having a big problem with green hair algae in my 29g bio cube, the parameters are all good and the salinity is at 1.026. I tried chemiclean but that didn't work. So I guess my question is what else can I do to get rid of it?
