currently using a rena xp3, and i believe the plants themselves are there own filters and so are the shrimp, after reading this i went out and got 6 odessas....there doing fine and schooling with the tiger barbs. ill update on how there doing later. thx for the replies

one might sound stupid but did you dechlorinate the water, and second im guessing its not cycled it you still have the filter media and gravel that is still wet you can use it to add bacteria into ur new tank

thanks for the help, i think ill start by putting the rainbow shark in first and let itself get established, i have a lot of hiding places for it i think so i think it wont be to aggressive, was mostly working about overstocking and water parameters

from what i understand roseline sharks are more like barbs then sharks, thats why i thought they would go fine with the rainbow

ok so i have a 55g tank and was planning on only getting about 9 tiger barbs and a rainbow shark, but after looking at a few roseline sharks I now want to get 1 rainbow shark, 7 tiger barbs (maybe 6) and 5 roseline shark. was wondering if this was a good combination and compatibility.
