This will probably end up being a sort of catch-all thread for general fish stuff, but I'm going to start by introducing my new fishroom. I've been working on it for a couple weeks and taking pictures along the way. The fishroom is adjacent to the office. This was all one big room beforehand and I put up the wall and removed a closet that was in where the fishroom was going. The common wall (between the office and fishroom) has a hole in it where a 75g will sit in the fishroom, and be "in-wall" in the office. This will provide plenty of room to work in and around the 75 without having to cram the auto-dosers, co2, filter, etc. in the stand. The plan with the rest of the room is to have some fun breeding fish while attending school, and maybe even make a little money on the side. The room is only 120 square feet, but with a wall full of tanks I think it will be plenty for what I want to do. So, to the part you guys actually care about, annotated pictures:
.
This one's before I installed the mold resistant sheetrock. You'll notice the stand pretty much gets moved around the whole time I'm working in here because the office was a little crammed from moving in some new chairs etc.:
After the sheetrock and paint:
The 'in-wall' part. I still have to put trim up, but I'm going to do that once I get the tank in so I can see exactly where to place the trim so that it covers the plastic trim on the tank:
The door...:
And the room before any shelving. You'll notice I kinda lazied out on putting trim up in there...:
