I was at Wal-Mart the other day and stopped by their fish dept. (couldn't help myself) to look for a female betta. I couldn't believe that they had their male bettas (in the small cups of course) stacked 6 high and 10 deep. I can't imagine how the poor guy at far back and center position would...

Has anyone had these. I've recently discovered them and think they look great. But I've never seen them in a fish store. Are they hardy, long lived, friendly, etc. And... Where can I get some without having to buy $30 worth of fish? -mark :frog:

What is the best way to grow my baby guppies so I can add them to the big tank. I saved two of the babies after the last breeding. The rest got eaten :eek2: LOL. Now I want to put them in with the "big fish", but they are way to small right now. Any suggestions on the best food for babies...

After the rather "heated" discussion on Blood Parrots, it got me thinking. How are breeders achieving the "balloon" look in many fish. I've see balloon mollies and kissing gouramies. Is this condition going to reduce the livelihood of these fish?

Any idea of why my female guppy is attacking my male guppy almost constantly? They have had babies together already and have been in the tank together for about a month. Just in the last couple of weeks she has begun chasing him all over the top of the tank. He's got some tail damage already...
