Just upgraded from a 35 to a 125. Here is how I did it in one day. 1. Started making RO/DI water a week ahead of time and put it in a 150 stock tank where I mixed salt. Had a few power heads and a heater in it as well. 2. Put live rock I got from a friend as well as dry rock in the stock...

ccCapt turned me on to the mag mix months ago and it worked very well. I have since went to store bought just because it is easier but may switch back one day. The key is keeping them all in check. If one gets out of hand you will have a tough time getting them back to balanced.

Not sure if it would work on the larger ones but on the smaller ones you can entomb them in super glue gel. I had a couple on the base of my scoly and didn't want to risk the Aptasia X that close to him. Glue worked great.

Dary, I think a cold one or two helps just about everything doesn't it? LOL Jlsardina it is not covering the eyes at all. I will do some research on velvet. I appreciate all the good thoughts guys. It does help. :-)

Go for it Carey. They are a piece of cake for someone like you to take care of. Used to feed mine silver sides but they just didn't take it that often. I now just give them a squirt of the frozen food when I feed the tank and they seem to love it.

Only been about a month for me but my Chinese knock off LEDs are getting amazing results. I am still only up to 50% intensity and everything but my Duncans are exploding.

Tank is fantastic. That is what mine wants to look like when it grows up. :-)

Very nice. What app is that. Never realized how bad it would be with my iPhone until I got the LEDs. Matter of fact, we had to come up with a new acronym because so many people would say "Crappy iPhone Pic". It is CiPP. :-)

Little update. The Powder Brown Tang and the Lawnmower Blenny have settled in and loving life, the Solarinsis Wrasse is out and about all the time. :-) All of the corals with the exception of the Duncan have adapted well to the new tank and new lighting. My two Rose Bubble Tips have found...
