My temp is rasing to about 82... not good.. My heater is off, and Ii do not want to get a chiller, to much of an investment... any sugestions? I thought about filling a soda bottle with water and freezing it, and then floating it in the tank until the temp stabilizes...

saw a funny thing this morning. The moon light came on in my tank , and my clown was bumping into everything, when i turned it off, he seemed fine. does he have to get used to the blue? or could there be something wrong with him?

My percula just bobs up and down @ the sand bed, he does this for long amounts of time, but also swims around? Is this normal? Also my blenny was chasing him last night.. after a while the blenny stoped. Should I beware?

what are good plants to put in a fowlr tank?

My ammonia spiked to .25 in my display tank, and in my QT tank it spiked to .50. What do i do? I did a water change in my display tank on sunday. my lfs told me to put a peice of lr in my QT to help the ammonia.

I have Hair algea growing on my live rock. do i want that there? I also have patches of bright green algea growing on my sand, whats the best way to get rid of this. I am using a milk buffer that my lfs gave me to use, i was told that the PH levels effect the algea growth.

well i was to late. I went to my LFS and purchased a 12 gal hospital tank for my tang. But i waited to long. He was sick for a week and a half... I put him in the QT tank, and treated with copper. He died a few hours later...My display now has 2 shrimp and a Blenny, I am going to get a crab...
