You can not delete attachments. You can use our gallery (or off site host) and insert your images in posts. Our gallery even gives you a BBCode link that makes it dead easy. You can get more attachment space by upgrading to supporter.

My guess is you have exceeded your quota for attachments. You can become a supporter for more attachment space or you can use the gallery and then link to the picture in your post.
