    Chillers?

I used to freeze water bottles and float them in my 200 gal salt when it was set up in my apartment in soCal. But my tank had built in sump and I'd float them in the over flow box I don't know if you have a. 99 cent store in your area but ours sells bags of ice for a dollar each

The canopy has been gutted I've been busy so I haven't grabbed any wood putty to seal up the holes from the lighting hardware. Still looking for lights that I feel I can trust to do the job. I wanna be able to put anything I wanna get in the tank and I know lights will play a big role in that...

    Questions about filtration.

I was planning on using any old canister filter the cheapest I can find as its not going to be doing anything other than pumping water out and replacing the water....we have to set salt water up 24 hrs prior to using now? I used to keep a 200 gal salt and make the replacement water the same day...

    Questions about filtration.

Currently I do not have a top picture of this tank. The canister would be strictly for doing water changes not for filtering I just figured I would plumb it under with some valves 4 and tees 2 just flip the return to tank valve off open "drain valve" check inlet valve is from display tank and...

Thanks, I'm gutting the canopy and starting fresh. I have room to hang three good sized led panels, but I figure if I'm going to spend 300 on lights I might as well find ones with all the features like sun rise sun set moon light and storms...I'm adding one more fan and replacing the current fan...

    Just bought a tank

Oh yeah forgot to mention I need to aquire all the rock and substrates for this tank also I guess I should keep a running tab on cost of supplies as we go to figure actual price of the completed tank so to-date total cost ($100 tank stand hood) I'm not going to count the pump or hob as they...

    Just bought a tank

So I got the tank today, and its got potential to be a really nice tank although it's got a large deep, deep scratch on the front right side I will be checking for leaks first but what can fill a large scratch on an acrylic tank? Clear nail polish? It's like super deep so I don't wanna sand and...

Has salt gone up in price? It didn't cost me 100 for my 200 gal tank I had about 3-4years ago I figured the dry rock was going to set me back a bit but wasn't counting on spending 400 for it, I have not seen this tank I don't know what it's set up for it comes with lights but I may need some to...

    Pwc question

No I haven't thought about breaking it up to twice a week I was wondering because I have a 19month old and have less and less time to work on my tank. As far as disrupting the tank to much I would be taking 5 gallons out of the back where the over flow/bio balls are kept and be adding the new...

    Pwc question

Would 5gallons a day be better than 25gallons every Friday on my 200gal tank? I'm thinking I could do 5 gallons a day a little easier than 25 a week and would be a bigger water change every week as well
