My green spotted puffer turns gray as soon as i turn the light on. It usually takes around 30 seconds until he is gray. I have him in a 10 gallon setup (hes less than an inch long = ill move him soon to an upgraded tank :D ) with a small black mollie. They get along fine and are good tank...

+1 i have more trouble with soft corals than with LPS and acros ... go figure haha

i got one a few weeks back and it immediately retracted and died .. :( idk what was wrong .. maybe the shock? I did take 3 hours to acclimate.. hmm ohh well .. i like hard corals better anyhow ;)

thats a sweet looking tank right there! I like how you set up the rockz! Do not worry about the corals they can stay fine out of the water for a couple of hours i believe so half an hour or so should be no biggi.. They coat themselves in a preservative slime coat that keeps them from drying...

That is the reason why we test for stuff. A kalk drip with it's chemistry I find to be the most useful addition to my tank. It keeps ph, alkalinity, and calcium levels in check. You can use b ionic instead I heard it works well but im just all about the cheap DIY stuff ;) If you're testing amm...
