Hello, looking for some help. came home from vacation and my giraffe cichlid had these white substances on him. One of them looks like a cotton ball attached to his eye, and then there are a few other spots on his top. What do I do? Is there anything I can do, or is he done?

I got a 56gallon tank. In it are 3 red zebras, 3 colbats, 3 yellow labs, 3 giraffe cichilds, 2 johannis, 1 rainbow shark, and 1 snail. Is my tank overstocked, would i be able to get more because i know that you want to slightly overstock with cichlids.

I got 9 baby african cichilds, and one red tail shark. They are in a 44 gal, and it needs more fish. I don't really wanna add more cichilds. What other fish could i add that would go well with them? If i had to add more cichilds which ones should i add. I have the blue, orange, and yellow ones...

So what kinds of fruits/veggies can i feed cichlids? I've been told swordtails will eat cucumber, will cichilds? I also have a rainbow shark so anything they could eat besides the regular food would be great.

Since i don't have a black light on my tank, is it ok that my tank is completely in the dark when i go to bed?

It seems to me that my cichlids are much more active at night. They seem to always be swimming more, and are more eager to eat.

I have a 45 gal tank and the sealent was bad on it. So i stripped it all off. What kind should i use to seal it back up? how do it do it? anything else i should be worried about?

One my female black swordtails is bullying my other female. What can i do to stop this? It just started happening a week ago. Could it be the absence of a male? My pet shop hasn't gotten any black swordtails in though yet. What should I do?

My female swordtail is barely able to swim. Shes just sitting on the bottom of the tank, sometimes going belly up. She uses her front fins more than her tail to swim, and is just dragging along. I don't know what to do, please help!

My male swordtail is well lazy..he just lays on the bottom relaxing, and when he swims he just goes into a cave and sits there. There are females in my tank so i don't know why he is doing this. Is there anything wrong?
