Uncle Bills is a lot nicer since they remodeled there fish room. Just be careful there are a couple of fish that aren't covered by there warranty.

I've purchased my angel fish in Ohio from a pet store called Petland. There's a Petco in Speedway that I goto alot. The Uncle Bills on W. 38th St. is ok. There's a Specks in Avon, and a Petsmart in Plainfield and 86th St.

I have a marineland 350 it has 4 slots for filter pads. They also have cartridge frames that you can put media in like carbon, ammonia neutralizing crystals, or a blend. How often should the filter pads be changed? I just want to get the best out of what I have. Should I run 4 pads? Should I...

Tetra flake food, and float the bags

I use tetra flake food if I remember right, and float the bags. I really don't have anything to setup a drip system.

I think I'll just return them if I can. I don't need anymore problems. Any recommendations on what to get for my 55g. I've got to large pieces of drift wood. I'm looking to have angle fish with neon tetras. I'd like to keep them on the lower light end of the scale if I can

Bruinsbro- I thought of that to. My marineland 350 filter has slots for up to 4 filter cartridge/pads. I tried changing them out on a rotation so there's always at least 1 old one in there. How often do you recommend changing the filter cartridges?

Just purchased 2 of these plant combos with the tag saying "dracaena, spathiphyllum,ophiopogon,trichomanes,". I googled this name and now I'm getting all these web pages saying there not aquatic plant and they will die. Have I done something wrong again?

Right now the problem is with the 55 gallon. Petco had there neon tetras on sale 5/$5. I know neons don't have the best reputation for being "hardy" and Petco doesn't have the best reputation for having quality fish. I was buying them 5 at a time around every 3 days with a 5 gallon water change...

I wasn't sure I haven't had a very good survival rate. Just trying to weed things out that I might be doing wrong.

Should I clean the gravel every time I do a water change? Am I taking out to much of the "beneficial bacteria" by cleaning the gravel to much?
