75 gallon fresh to salt conversion

Hi, I have had saltwater tanks before but its time to do it again. I have a 75 gallon freshwater tank with no inhabitants as of now but the beneficial bacteria is still alive in it. Now, my question is can the bacteria be converted? Because I have dry live rock chunks with no saltwater bacteria...

Oh well I'm sure you could get them on the internet or some sort of breeding system to make them, or you could always try driving out of your usual area to look

You could have put in the fbt, the only precaution is if it escapes it will dry out and die

Try blood worms, they'll live in the substrate until they've been consumed

Want To Know What Kind Of Plants For A Beginner

I guess I could try other plants too, I just like the look of carpets. I also think all tanks should be planted, it looks cool and promotes a healthier ecosystem imb. Which is why I want to plant it

Want To Know What Kind Of Plants For A Beginner

Hmmm, there seems to be more to this than I thought. I'll probably just keep researching to know if I should do this or not, because I don't want to buy plants and have them all die and look like crap and dirty up the tank

Right now I have a few bright uv lights on my tank but no co2 kit, just fish to create that. How much glosso would I need to start with?

    Quanity for a 125

Thanks for the tip but the tetras I want are all around an inch or so, so I'll probably just get enough to make the tank look populated then save the rest of the space for random other fish I decide I want

    Rena Filstar xp4 setup question

I use this exact filter on my 125 and I use the spray bar submerged as to not upset the fish but you can't really over filter a tank so it would be fine in your tank as long as the current doesn't stress the fish

    Quanity for a 125

Hi, I was wondering what a safe number of smaller tetras for a 125 gallon tank would be I only have 7 right now 3 bleeding hearts and 4 red eyes. I will post pics if that would help.

    Aquatic terrarium plan

My personal choice would be a newt or a salamander but that's just me. Salamander runs a higher risk of losing fish and newts aren't big enough to eat almost any fish. But if you're already leaning towards fire belly toads then I would just do that. Also I've seen situations of fire belly newts...

    Aquatic terrarium plan

That depends on how much clean water is available to them and their size I've heard anything from 1 gallon per fish to 10 gallons per fish. But it seems like those are smaller end fish so I'd say they'd be fine if the tank was half full or well aerated.
