can someone tell me a little bit about them first hand ...i always passed them up, but it seems like alot of people on here have them,,,how big do they get,feeding habits,are they a community fish,do they clean up your tank??...etc...

I never had sand in any tank i owned but i am thinking about it. It looks good, but i want to know what im up against. is it a pain in the bass when you are vaccuming your tank ???. and will plants grow well in sand???..i am almost ready to start up my tank, how much sand or how many inches...

hey folks, last night i registered as a new user on here. i just got a free 75 gallon tank from a friend. it was a saltwater set up. I AM GOING FRESH WATER. this tank had 2 holes in the bottom and 2 pipes running up thru the tank. dont know what you call it but im sure its for a filtration...
