    Snails dying off..

    I have had the same problem. They seem to be sensitive to high NO3. I have also seen my hermits dining on them but I don't know if the hermits kill them or just eating snails that died from other causes.

    Biocube or JBJ Nano Cube??

    Don't know about the JBJ but I had a bc29 and loved it. I gave it to a friend when I set up another tank. He still has it and loves it.
