Can someone please Id this cichlid? When he is all colored up he has black and white stripes and yellow lining at the top of his dorsal fin. You could almost see it in the picture. I just can't get a good picture of him. Thanks!

3rd looks like a cobalt blue zebra. Last one looks like an mdoka.

Aquaclears are great. I like them better than marineland. You will have more flexible options with aquaclear as far as media is concerned. And its a good idea to overfilter and double up if you can. I run 2 filters on both my tanks.

IMHO, $23 costs too much for that DIY. Aquaclear 30s are selling $24 at amazon. But it looks good though.

I used black cotton thread. Here's a pic right after I have attached it to the DW.

It's java moss. Those are 2 pieces of DW that I attached the java moss with. And I left some loose around the ship.
