I was surprised to see my GT has laid a good number of eggs this morning. This is the first time she had eggs. How long before the eggs hatch? Is there anything else I need to do or just leave them be?

They usually hatch in 3-4 days depending on water temperature. Your next steps depend on what your going to do with hundreds of fry, the parents will guard and feed them until they are ready for the next spawn after that they're fair game. If you have no way to rehome, house them, or sell them then I would cull the eggs.
