Hmm they sound like they might be alright. Ive been doing some other reading on them too. Would they be okay with my neons and other community fish? I know other cichlids can be aggressive, but wasnt 100% sure about these ones. I would like to switch to a completely cichlid set up at some point!:)

Thanks for the welcome! We have had the tank running since about June. We are only new to keeping a tank so we are starting out very simple. We are starting to replace plastic plants with live plants although we only have 1 right now. Ill take some pictures when I go home this weekend.
