Came home Christmas night and found my firefish in my corals mouth. I am wondering if the fish died and somehow ended up falling onto to plate coral or is the plate coral killed my fish? Just put the fish in my tank Friday night. I'm hoping it didn't just die. All my water parameters are good.

I just did a 25% water change and was wondering how long I have to wait before I can test for nitrates, nitrites, ph, alk, calcium, ect. I only use io salt and when I run out I'm going to switch over to a reef salt. So does anyone out there know when I could test my water parameters? Thanks :-)

I've been using instant ocean since I started the hobby. Is there a better or cheaper salt in anyone's opinion? If I'm setting up a reef tank do I need to use reef salt or just continue using the instant ocean? I don't have many corals but plan on adding as many as I can afford in the future.
