i have a pair of gouramis ready to lay eggs. i am told to put the tank up to 85 to help them lay eggs. will this cause trouble for the rest of the tank. i have mollies, black tetra's, pleco, 2 angel fish, and some assorted platy's. thanks rob

now i have 2 more questions. what kind of skimmer is best and economical? and once te tank is cycled, which should take 2 to 3 weeks i assume. do i have to quarantine the first fish. is it best to install 1 fish at a time? thats when the quarantine would come into place. rob

i use the ghost shrimp in my molly baby tank to keep the bottom clean. i also have some in my plant growing tank they are fun to watch. the life expectancy is not long though i was told about 2 to 3 months at the longest. for $.30 each they are not bad
