Hi all, I recently cycled a 55G tank and added around 20 neons, 5 small silver dollars and 4 mystery snails. They were acclimatized properly, floating in the water, having tank water added etc. The next morning I see snails with white fluff on them (Pic 2) and they are unmoving. The dollars...

Incredibly rare, virtually unheard of. I'm slightly worried about what size tank this BGK is in...let alone what size tank the OP will be putting a pair of them in.

There's something wrong with you

In a large tank of say 100G I'd say you'd have a fair chance. Anything smaller and I'd say the two will more likely than not fight to the death.

The white tail end makes me think bristlenose to be honest

Do you actually have a common pleco and 3 clown loaches in a 55G...

Some fish are inherently hostile but 9/10 they're just incredibly territorial. How big is the tank?

Agreed. The betta is a huge risk in that stocking and should be avoided.

The BGK requires a much larger tank than a 75G so I'd avoid that.

Almost certainly because you're overstocked and unfortunately it's impossible to know, nitrAtes tend to kill fish slowly but at such high rates you could lose the tank.

Have you confirmed your LFS will take him? If he ends up in one of your tanks that's not going to end well...

It's overstocked. A 5.5G is far too small for a great white.

Quaranite Tank, yes. Fish will be in there for a few weeks so having an established source of biomedia is vital for the health of your fish. Medical tank, no. With fish isolated for health reasons you should be performing daily or at least every second day water changes which should avoid...
