Its possible but I think its going to be very difficult to keep the algae off the glass and also the filter from plugging up....you'll be cleaning it every day....the things that will help are a uv sterilizer and some algae treatment....I have it for my pond called accuclear....this treatment...

ADVICE HELP PLEASE!!!! I just ordered 500 1.5 inch bio balls and I am going to chop my media pads a little smaller because they are large and there isnt many edges to catch stuff and to increase the area as well.....any more help is appreciated!
