I poured some vinegar on the geode, and it didn't fizz at all, but now the color is like, translucent, so now I kinda don't want to use it.

They were priced on weight, I think the biggest one was like, seven bucks.

I don't think he uses any cleaners. He lives in a trailer and keeps all the stones and glass outside on make-shift tables. Usually in raw piles. I took pictures of some glass and a geode slice I was thinking about using.

the geodes and gemstones are ones that a little old man sells by the road. Supposdley, he finds them in the nearby mountains.

alerady scrubbed...but I can't boil it cause it's too damn big! what about boiling water and pouring it on the wood in a tub? then letting it soak? and like, repalcing the water when it gets lukewarm?

that's good to hear! I agree with the shapes. But what do you do to clean it? boil it or just nothing?

It depends on what you call stink, let me go smell it... it smells like the creek, and dirt. I didn't find it in the water, but on rocks by the creek. so it was dry when I found it. (if that has anything to do with the outcome) and I don't have money for any driftwood. my parents won't 'fund'...
