i just looked at the photo gallery and it looks to me as if its a zebra cichlid

i'm not really sure, the lfs told me it was an african cichlid. its silvery/blue with black med. size stripes going vertically. sorry i dont have a cam or i'd take a pic.

The same thing kind of happened to me. But after about a week and a half my leather finger started opening when the lights were on. i've had it about a month now and is fine. So i'm not sure if this is normal or not, but it did happen to me. But what do i know, i'm just a newbie :lol:

I always have this oily looking film on the surface of my tank. I asked my lfs about it and they said it was probably dirt or me not washing my hands before putting them in my tank. But what I dont understand if its dust, why's it so oily looking and what can i do to prevent/fix the problem...
