    One year in

Well, here's my tank. I'm one year in and I wish that I could say it has been a bed of roses, but it hasn't. I still struggle with all forms of algae, but I'm not giving up. Sold my freshwater and concentrating on the salt. Enjoy.

    My new light project

Hey there. I don't want to make you spend you spend more money than you need too, but I did notice a huge change with all my corals. With that being said, I had success with the stock lights, just not at this pace. The AI LEDs have been amazing. Good luck and keep us posted.

    My BioCube 29 gallon journey

I think it is just showing what the end goal in mind is and showing peak times for intensity. The numbers don't represent an actual correlation between intensity...

    My new light project

So here is the finished project. The light is amazing and the corals are already responding well. This is my first LED light so I have nothing to compare it to, but I highly recommend one.

    My new light project

Yep, just sitting on top. I left a narrow patch down the middle so the light would never fall through. I thought about cutting a hole in my jbj hood, but I know I will upgrade someday and I wanted to be able to resell it.

    My new light project

I got a new light for fathers day(my gift to me) and I decided to built a new hood. I was afraid my little boy would try and throw things into he tank if it was open. It think it turned out pretty good and it goes on the tank tomorrow. Let me know what you think. I'll update pics when I get...

    Jbj nano question

Ya, they aren't socks. But that isn't a bad idea to add one to the back.

    Jbj nano question

For those of you with the JBJ Nano cubes, did you leave the two long, rectangle black sponges in the return pump chambers? My thought is that they put these in there to reduce possible vibrations from the return hoses. The more I got to thinking about it, all kinds of junk could build up over...
