    Rate my tank

Yes it's one big piece, it weighed in at 22 lbs!!! I was actually very lucky to get that, they had just broke down someone's tank and I was able to snag it!!!

    Rate my tank

I would like some feed back and see if there was anything else I could do to make my tank look better! Current stock: two ocellaris clowns, one blue chromis, purple firefish, mandarin goby, diamond goby, sailfin tang, six line wrasse, cleaner shrimp, misc snails and hermits, several brittle...

    Live rock

I just ended up buying overpriced ugly brown rock from the lfs. And I already had a lot of dried out base rock, was wanting some pretty stuff to color up my tank.

TDS reading and green hair algae problem!

I won't make your fish drunk haha, you are putting in such a small amount it doesn't affect them what so ever. Read up on it. I did my research before trying and like I said it has worked very well for me!

TDS reading and green hair algae problem!

I'm really not joking! I was so nervous to try it at first but the results are unreal! It made my tank look beautiful! I've also heard its best to use a higher quality vodka I.e. sky, svedka is actually what I use. I use a children's medicine dropper to put it in there! Makes maintaining your...

TDS reading and green hair algae problem!

The best way to get rid of green hair algae and long term prevention of nitrates and phosphates in my finding has been the "vodka method". I use regular sky vodka, for your size tank you do 24 drops every other day. For long term care 24 drops a week. It cleared my tank of all hair algae and...

    Sick Clown Fish

Sadly I had a clownfish with something similar and he did not make it. I tried to treat him with the instant ocean cure all med in my QT tank. But after a few days he didn't get any better. It looks like the same flesh rotting bacteria mine had. I will attach a pic. I would at least try the...

    125 gal rebuild

I think we will take it completely apart... There is already a new piece of glass down there. How good it is I don't know. All of our lfs around here suck so that is not an option. I have found rims for smaller tanks but not a 125. So I guess the search continues. You know of any good websites...

    125 gal rebuild

What would be the best way to replace that? Metal, wood? Should I use liquid nails, jb weld? Also more pics attached. A lady at the lfs told me I should just throw the tank away, I said no way!! I know there is something I can do to fix it. After all they have it in pieces to make it, so what...

    125 gal rebuild

Hey guys, I'm needing some help with a huge project. I got a 125 gallon aquarium from a guy with a nice stand but the tank is in bad shape. The corners are all apart on it and the silicon job was horrible! I have just finished scrapping all of the old silicon out. The bottom of the tank was...
