I have found that you should always look at some LFSs to compare first. You would be surprised. Certain fish at one store might be considerably cheaper at another. Don't forget to account for your shipping costs. Pete R.

I think the key is to make sure you use the correct progression of abrasive pads. This is why they have kits with abrasives of varying degrees. I guess you go from most coarse to least coarse. Let me know how you make out. I have a large acrylic I would like to "buff up". Good luck! Pete R.

I had a Princess Parrotfish that I lost in QT. Never made it into my main but I loved it. I lost some other fish in QT at the same time so I can't say the Princess was particularly a problem. Maybe I'll try again someday.

More importantly keep the fish in QT for a good amount of time (minimum of 2 weeks) and observe carefully. Good luck...
