I agree, plus marine (saltwater) aquariums are 100x harder to give up than any other due to the amount of effort, time and the fish begin to have characters. Let alone the cost and time scale, most people will take over a year to fully stock a marine tank sometimes 2-3 years
[mod edit] I keep my ammonia levels at 0 and when they get to 0.25 pwc and back down to 0 on the tests, look you can do what you want but I'm just saying how I do it, it works and I have set up 8 tanks like this over the years. It's advice forum and I'm giving my advice I what I have done over...
Yeah I am cycling the tank but with fish in what I don't agree with is that you have to do it without fish.... My ammonia and nitrates/nitrites are fine with the fish in, just do a 20% water change every two weeks and they never climb quickly... I do tests every day for the first 2 months when...

Dwarf guramies you will want to wait untill water has settled and get a male and a female.
I have just started getting into marine now and I use the same times two fish after...
I tryed an anti aiptasia syringe thing and that failed miserably, do you realise how hard they are to get it in the mouth!
So as I don't have any corals yet I decided to take the infected piece of rock out and squirt them with boiling water which has seamed to do the trick will see if I get anymore
The tank is about 4weeks old the rock I have had in there about 2 weeks and I have just noticed them on the rock when I was looking at my clown and blue tang last night
Have just done all my water tests and added a marine white and a marine blue light tubes!!!!!!!
Oh yeah and a blue tang and a clown fish ?
The blue tang went into a rock for about 10 mins and is now swimming around after bubbles and is very happy and no white spot!!!
The clown fish was swimming...
