Dwarf puffers are really mean and need to be in their own tank. I have yet to hear anyone able to keep them with anything else. Could it be done? Maybe, but really should keep them alone. If you want only 3 puffers keep 1 male and 2 females any more males and your looking at dead fish.

all my males have had this. I could never find any info on it. My females never got it. It went away after about a week of them being in the new tank.

I had treadfins do that when I 1st got them, all had what looked like fungus patches on the lips, a few days later all gone.

I wouldn't do just 2 dwarfs 1 or 3 is best to keep aggression down, I have 5 in a 15g ATM waiting for them to get large enough to sex then its down to 1 male and 2 females
