Current livestock: (1) Bicolor angel, (1) Royal Gramma & (1) Banggai Cardinal. Tank has 62lbs of live rock. I have been looking at a Raccoon Butterflyfish but I am afraid it might grow to big for my tank. Any thoughts? If out of the question, do you have any other suggestions?

I just tested for nitrates for the first time. The reading is between 20-30ppm. Strange? Has anyone else seen this before? I added the"cured" live rock approx 30 minutes from buying it from the LFS.

I was thinking about adding a single green chromis to my well established 26gal FOWLR tank. Only other fish are a pair of O. clowns that are long time residents. Would the green chromis do well in this set up or are they better kept in groups?

I use the CSS 65 and it works awesome. Was using CPR BakPak prior to switching. Only drawback is that it (the pump and bubble trap) takes up a lot of space in the tank.

I have a 65w corallife aqualight w/ a 50/50 bulb on my 26 gal bow. I only have a few different mushroom varieties in addition to my live rock. I too use the CSS 65 for my 26 gal. It is pretty quiet. Much quieter than the CPR BakPak I used to use and it produces much more quality skimmate. The only drawback is that it tames up a lot of space in the tank.

I currently am only using 1 rio 600 powerhead in my 26 gal FOWLR for circulation. It says it pumps 200 gal/hr at 0 ft. Should I add another one as I am concerned that I dont have sufficient water movement?

I 've had my yellow watchman goby about 8 months. Over time he has grown and his color has faded. When I first got him he was a much brighter yellow. Is it a natural process for this fish's color to fade over time? He seems perfectly healthy otherwise.
