Good stuff! As you've probably gathered from the link, he's a Corydoras Aeneus - same as mine, but the colourless version! My advice would be to get him some pals ... besides being good scavengers, they're a really fun and entertaining fish to watch. They're really hardy and dead easy to breed...

Yeah, although the snails seem to clean up anything that's left long enough to dissolve. Perhaps it would be easier to soak the pellets before I put them in the tank? Anyhow, thanks for the tips ... I'll try them on some bloodworms (the adult Corys love them)

Mine seem to like launching themselves into the shoal of tiger barbs and watching them scatter. I've also caught them chasing the Corys round the tank. Not in an agressive manner, more a 'get out of my space' type manner. Makes the tank a whole lot more entertaining!
